Soumik Datta Arts presented The Green Room Collective
After two weeks in residence, living and working as a team at Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking, this event marked the first public sharing of the group’s collaboration. From Iran to Palestine, Ukraine to Venezuela, The Green Room Collective is a celebration of diversity, a dialogue of difference, and a tribute to resilience: seven migrant and refugee artists weaving music, dance and spoken word to address themes of home, displacement and migration.

In recognition for its 10 years of work in the arts and community, SDA was awarded National Portfolio status by Arts Council England to support the foundation and develop Soumik’s portfolio of projects over the next three years.
The Green Room Residency Programme was produced by Soumik Datta Arts and supported by Arts Council England, Aga Khan Foundation, Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking, Counterpoints Arts, and Good Chance Theatre.
