PILGRIMAGE

A Talk and a Walk

Sunday 28th January, 10.30am–1.30pm

St Laurence’s Church: Stroud Centre for Peace and the Arts
Pilgrimage can be undertaken at any time of the year, as a tool for personal and social change.

Together we explored what pilgrimage is and reflected (individually and together) on what threads may be calling us to follow at this time of year, as the natural world awakens into the first inklings of spring. We explored ways to create our own pilgrimage with the time you have available and with what is meaningful to you.
There were moments of stillness, during which time Tara Simenauer played some contemplative music for us, and a walk - a micro pilgrimage of sorts - to explore our intention. There was also time for questions to discuss the practicalities.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Joa Robins is a leadership and mental resilience coach with a passion for pilgrimage.  She walked to COP26 in Glasgow from London and more recently back home to Stroud from her mother's funeral in Berkshire.  She sees pilgrimage as a powerful way to listen and connect to our inner and outer worlds.
